home apps contact support reviews

Let's face it, the iPhone screen is beautiful, but tiny. We put this support page up so you can contact us more easily, and so that we can describe in more detail what Pairopix can do for you.

Shake-out Menu:

If you ever find yourself stuck somewhere in Pairopix, simply give your iPhone / iPod touch a shake. You will be presented with our menu which enables you to return to the "home" screen, visit our "info" & "top score" pages, and even send a quick "tell a friend" email alerting friends & family as to just how fun you think Pairopix is.

Giving it a shake will also pause a game. Just tap "resume" when you are ready to continue.

Both the shake-out menu and the slide away welcoming screen are equiped with a "kill" button (red with an X) which enables you to remove them from view. This also allows access to the custom set ports underneath the welcoming screen.

Get to your photos:

If you are using iPhoto to organize your photos, then it's easy to create albums that you can then sync to your device. If you're using other photo sharing applications, then follow their instructions for importing photos into your device. You can also send yourself an email containing photos, retrieve the email with your iPhone / iPod touch, then save images to its photo library. Using your device to retrieve the email you sent to yourself, the images will appear within the email. Touch & hold your finger on one of the photos until the pop up menu appears. Tap the "save all images" option. This saves all of them into the photo albums, where they can be accessed to build a set. This is also a handy way to share your sets with friends and family who also use Pairopix!

Here's how to share image sets between devices...

On the iPhone, open photo albums, select the album you want, then tap the little rectangle/arrow icon in the lower left. You then see the images and two buttons below. "share" and "copy." When you tap an image it grays back with a check mark. Tap the 12 images you want to transfer and then tap "copy." Leave the photo albums app and open email. Tap and hold in the body of the email until the paste option appears. Tap "paste" and send the e-mail. Instruct the email recipient to Touch & hold one of the photos until the pop up menu appears. Tap the "save 12 images" option. This saves all of them into the photo albums, where they can be accessed to build a set.(This copy and paste ability only came to the iPhone/iPod Touch with the 3.0 operating system, so it isn't possible this way if you're running an older OS.)

Creating custom image sets:

Follow the screen prompts from the home page to begin. From a Pairopix custom image set screen, Tap a + sign or an existing photo you wish to replace. Select a source ( iPhone Camera, or Photo Albums). Once your image appears in the cropping screen, use your finger tips to move & resize, then tap "use."

You are then returned to the edit screen where you can choose to create or edit additional photos or tap "save." When you tap save for an unfinished set, the set's icon will appear on the "home" screen dimmed with a + sign. This signifies an unfinished set that cannot yet be played.

Once you have saved a set of twelve, you will be given the opportunity to select a set icon which will appear brightly on the "home" screen signifying that the custom image set is ready for play.

Custom image sets (finished & unfinished) can be edited from the home screen by holding a finger upon their icons for two seconds.

The icon for any custom set can be easily changed as often as you like by first holding your finger on that set's icon for a moment. This presents you with the edit screen for that particular set. Touch & hold the image you wish to use for the set icon. You will be returned to the "home" screen where you will find your new icon.

To increase the level of difficulty, consider creating sets that have more similarities than differences. Check out some of the challenging sets available to you by visiting our in-app free sets pages.

Crashing?

We would like to hear about any persistent crashes you might be experiencing within Pairopix. But before reporting to us, please power down and re-boot your device. Then check to see if the crashing continues.
